Hello everyone,

just started my first flight with this machine (wonderfully modelled by the way). While I was flying a SID from EHAM, FSX stopped working, unfortunately. This is the first time this ever happened (apart from the early uiautomationcore.dll ctd's, which were solved) and is most likely related to Airbus X Extended. My .cfg is tweaked with Venetubo, and I am using Win 7 64 Ultimate, FSX is NOT installed in the standard folder.

The error code is the following:

Problem signature:

Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

Application Name: fsx.exe

Application Version: 10.0.61472.0

Application Timestamp: 475e17d3

Fault Module Name: StackHash_ea94

Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.17725

Fault Module Timestamp: 4ec49b8f

Exception Code: c0000374

Exception Offset: 000ce6c3

OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1

Locale ID: 1043

Additional Information 1: ea94

Additional Information 3: 378d

Additional Information 4: 378d87477450e5f00fbee5bc6c3ab726

Any ideas?

Hi Doug, from your log we can see that it was not directly tied to any specific error within the Extended. That is not to say that it wasn't the Extended's fault. To find out the true cause, can you please detail what you were doing at the time of the CTD in detail (if you were changing anything with the aircraft, or if it was just flying on autopilot, etc), and if you can reproduce the CTD. We need as much detail as possible to narrow down what may have been the cause. Any addons you were near will help as well.

Ok Kyle will do ... i will replicate the flight now...

Suffice to say it was on full autopilot....addons were OPUS...REXO...ORBX NZI...UT2

Thanks for your assistance!

PS - To add to the above, i had downloaded the Jetstar NEO repaint and was using that.... this is strange... when i select the airbus form the main screen, ALL the Neo versions do NOT appear! Not one! I deleted the repaints and edited the .cfg to suit but they still do no longer show up... weird!

Regards

Doug

Can you try activating with another aircraft then change to the Airbus Extended?

Yeah wouldn't be a problem Joshua! Now it works fine. I just missed to activate the scenery before my flight with the Bus to ZRH. But it seams like that the Bus have a few small problems when you're working inside the FSX menu (had another CTD while i tried to calibrate my stick).

Please try to reinstall the redist:

http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en

If you use Windows X64 use this one:

http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en

I'm gonna try reinstall this later.

However I just had another crash do desktop switching with the views. while still parked on the ground. I've got Vista 32 bit by the way but I assume we can get it stable enough to run this bird ... at least I hope !

Hi Gustavo, have you tried doing the Step by Step tutorial flight? How to enter waypoints and airways are explained there.

Had my first CTD. I was at FL250 in cruise between PHLI and PHTO, and everything was operating normally. When I clicked on the COM 1 radio's transfer switch in order to change frequencies, I experienced the CTD.

Having problems with CTDs here -

Tried to do ORD-PHX and kept getting crashes when i'd try to load the BUNTR2 arrival into the MCDU.. would crash when I selected GUP transition. error report for that is -

Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14

Report Id: 7b400ac7-4962-11e2-aef7-80213f6e180d

I tried to fly PHX-LAX and got a CTD about 15 miles out on the approach to LAX - didn't click anything to cause it, just crashed to desktop.. no error report

Add-ons used - UTX, GEX, REX, Active Sky 2012, EZDok, FSUIPC, FSDreamteam/FlightBeam sceneries. I've also updated to latest Visual C++ file as suggested.

Seems like a good product.. would like to be able to use it though.

Hi Tom,

It would be great if you can upload your FMGS.log, FMGSXX.dmp and MCDUFPLData.txt (Zip it and attach it) when you have a CTD.

Two CTDs now. Latest was while awaiting an AES pushback, reviewing MCDU to close a discontinuity. Was using co-pilot checklist in both cases. (First occurred when changing altitude, still on ground at gate).
