Just started flying North Mid Canadian frontier but none of the airports are recognised by X-Plane ie CYPM--CPV7--CYVZ is there a way aroung this or a way of adding airports into X-Plane? Cheers-Edwin

That seems to allow me to download the latest data thanks but basically theres a lot of data missing from X-Plane it seems.

I have joined a new forum 'North Aviation' which is dedicated to flying the outback of Canada and gives a list of its circuit airports/aerodromes. Google's Flightplanner http://www.lnamanager.ch/flight-planner/index.php# has them all listed and copiles the flight plans fine--except X-Plane cannot relate to them.

Here is a list of the 16 airports/cities North Aviation currently flies to in alphabetical order: X-Plane only recognises two of them.

Pickle Lake - CYPL

Cat Lake - CYAC

Deer Lake - CYVZ

Fort Hope - CYFH

Keewaywin - CPV8

Kingfisher lake - CNM5

Lansdowne House - CYLH

North Spirit Lake - CKQ3

Pikangikum - CYMP

Poplar Hill - CPV7

Red Lake - CYRL

Round Lake (Weagamow) - CVRJ

Sandy Lake - CZSJ

Slate Falls - CKD9

Summer Beaver - CJV7

Wunnumin Lake - CKL3

I have also noticed that X-Plane seems to have it's own Codes for many smaller airstrips/Aerodromes (Generally minor which is about all I fly)--Any info would be appreciated-Cheers

A guy is working on adding missing airfields but for now it is in Quebec and Ontario. See http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=11931 and http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=15183 then View other files from this member.

And if you want to create the missing runways by yourself, download World Editor (WED) from this page : http://developer.x-plane.com/tools/worldeditor/
